Ever dream of going to the United States?  If you are a Physical Therapist with a license to practice in The
Philippines, that dream could very well become a reality.  ERC Therapy Services wants to help Physical
Therapists that are licensed in The Philippines come to the United States of America to work as Licensed
Physical Therapists in the State of Texas.  Please see below for the requirements necessary to get the process
started.
1.  Applicant must be licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the Philippines
2.  Applicant may need to obtain a Healthcare Worker Certificate from the United
States Department of Homeland Security.  Please visit

3.  Applicant must have academic transcript reviewed by one of the following
Texas-approved companies:

               a.  FCCPT
               b.  International Credentialing Association (ICA)
               c.  University of Texas at Austin

4.  Applicant must achieve the following minimum scores on the following
English-language exams:

               a.  Paper based TOEFL tests: TOEFL (reading/comprehension)
                    
580; TWE (writing/essay) 5.0; TSE (speaking) 55.
               b.  Computer-based TOEFL tests: TOEFL
                     (r
eading/comprehension) 237; TWE (writing/essay) 5.0; TSE         
                     
(speaking) 55.
               c.  Internet-based: Writing 24; Speaking 26; Reading/
                    
Comprehension 18; Listening Comprehension 21.

5.  Once the above have been completed, the applicant may apply for the license
examination.  Please see the

6.  Upon completion of the application process, ERC Therapy Services will
begin the petition process to help the applicant obtain a visa to come to the
United States.  The applicant will still be responsible to complete the application
process in The Philippines.  According to Texas Regulations, the applicant must
be in the United States with a residential address before final approval is
granted for the examination.  If necessary, the Executive Council of Physical
Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners will write a letter to help the
applicant obtain a visa.
